A hand-coloured print of a struggle to fit a pair of tight breeches onto a stout man. The customer is apparently suspended in air by the two assistants, both of whom stand on a chair and a stool to ease their efforts. A shop-keeper looks on in amusement. Inscribed in the plate: J Nixon fecit 1784 / Pubd. Novr 1 1784 by W Humphrey No.227 Strand
