Photograph of four long tables set up in the street with many people - both seated and standing. In the foreground, a young woman who plays The 'Queen' is about to be crowned by the local vicar with her bridesmaids standing on either side. Bunting, streamers, many flags. Street parties such as this one were held up and down the country to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on the 2 June 1953.
