In this session, students will learn all about the life of some key Tudors who have impacted the development of Windsor Castle. 

Session Learning Objectives:

  • Explore some of the major societal changes during the Tudor period. 
  • Develop the students understandng of the changing relationship between the Church and State
  • Find out how Tudor monarchs spend their time here at Windsor and how they developed the Castle itself,                                                                             
  • Discover why one of the most infamous Tudor monarchs chose to be buried here

In this session students will;

  • Use artefacts  and costumes to to develope their understanding therough role play
  • Develop speaking and listening skills with plenty lof time for a Q&A session

This session is supported by a detailed video which can be used back at school.
