A photograph of HRH Princess Elizabeth and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh on their wedding day. They are both facing the viewer and smiling. The Princess, standing on the left, is wearing a wedding dress and holds a bouquet with her right hand while the Prince, wearing a Naval uniform, is resting his left hand on his sword. The wedding took place in Westminster Abbey on 20 November 1947. After the marriage ceremony the couple processed to Buckingham Palace where the Wedding Breakfast was held. This photograph of the couple was taken in the Throne Room of the Palace.
